Field Marketing Manager

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brand's mobile truck and trailer operations. This role is responsible for executing marketing initiatives that take the brand on the road to engage with target audiences directly. This role involves managing the logistical, operational, and promotional aspects of the brand's mobile assets, ensuring they effectively represent the brand and engage with target audiences. The primary objective is to maximize the impact of the brand's mobile presence and drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement through strategic activations.

Responsibilities

Asset Management and Maintenance:

    Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the brand's mobile truck and trailer, ensuring they are in optimal condition for activations.
  • Coordinate regular inspections, repairs, and servicing to maintain safety and compliance standards.
  • Manage inventory of products, promotional materials, equipment, and branding assets stored within the truck and trailer.

Logistics and Scheduling:

  • Plan and coordinate the schedule for mobile truck and trailer activations, considering factors such as target markets, events, and promotional opportunities.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects including route planning, vehicle permits, setup, and teardown.
  • Ensure timely setup and teardown of activations, coordinating with event organizers and onsite staff as needed.

Brand Advocacy:

  • Act as a passionate brand ambassador, embodying the brand's values and identity at all times.
  • Share knowledge about the brand's history, mission, and market differentiators with consumers and dealers.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers to build brand loyalty and advocacy.
  • Communicate brand key messages effectively and authentically to consumers.
  • Training sales representatives and accounts as required on both the brand and product.
  • Support at Trade Shows, retailer requested events and consumer activations.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track key performance metrics for mobile activations, including foot traffic, consumer engagement, lead generation, and sales conversion.
  • Analyze data and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of activation strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management stakeholders, highlighting activation performance and ROI.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for mobile truck and trailer operations, including activation costs, staffing expenses, and equipment purchases.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints while maximizing the impact of activations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in event management, experiential marketing, or brand activation, with a focus on mobile assets such as trucks and trailers.
  • Experience driving a truck and trailer across a variety of terrain and for long distances.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge of logistics, transportation regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as required for mobile activations.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative activation concepts.
