Description

The Senior Marketing Project Manager leads cross-functional teams and business unit stakeholders to define scope, plan, execute and manage project plans in alignment with resources, budget and project timelines. This position will also leverage, support, and govern the project management system.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job duties:
  • Develops comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, resources, and deliverables
  • Champions seamless project set-up and coordination utilizing the project management system, Workfront
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing strategists, leaders, designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure project milestones are met efficiently
  • Facilitates Agile ceremonies and kickoff meetings with appropriate product strategists, production teams, leaders, stakeholders etc.
  • Executes project timelines and plans that are consistent with organization methodology and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Communicates progress to strategists and leaders using a standard methodology including milestones plans, risk, issues, etc.
  • Proactively identifies and log risks and issues, and develops mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes (i.e. budget/resource constraints)
  • Facilitates clear communication channels between production teams, strategists and business unit partners to ensure alignment on project objectives and expectations
  • Partners with Strategists to complete retrospectives and project close activities for all assigned projects
  • Evaluates existing operational processes and identifies areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality
  • Utilizes process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile to analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement streamlined processes
  • Engages stakeholders at all levels to gather input, gain buy-in, and drive process change initiatives
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, championing best practices and driving adoption of new processes and technologies
  • Serves as a mentor for other Project Managers on the team
Essential skills:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree (in Marketing, business administration or a related field) or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree required
  • Minimum years' experience in project or program management; inclusive of at least one year in marketing field
  • Experience interfacing with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, and negotiation
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Advanced understanding of project management methodologies and process improvement frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process improvement in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Workfront
  • Certification/License: CSM, CSPO, Lean or Six Sigma required
Location: Hillsboro, OR97124(HYBRID)

Target Compensation in Hillsboro OR:$100,000 to $115,000 annually + annual bonus
