Role:

Assembles vacuum pumps and peripherals, tests and calibrates units to meet

tolerances and product specifications. Perform testing following internal instructions. is position will interpret, document and communicate results to the appropriate departments, The will also complete the final assembly of some components onto pump systems. Perform other work related tasks as assigned.

Main Responsibilities:

Including the following, other duties may be assigned.

  • Assemble a variety of pumps and peripherals
  • Testing units to meet tolerances & product specifications
  • Maintaining the companies rigid quality assurance standards
  • Note information to work orders as required
  • Works under limited supervision
  • Perform in process specific visual and measurement inspection checks
  • Perform specific visual and measurement inspection checks as directed.
  • Record, report and compile inspection result data
  • Perform quality audits as directed
  • Recommend changes to inspection methods as conditions warrant

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform

each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Ability to measure and handle a variety of complex parts
  • Have good oral and written communications skills.
  • Exhibit the ability to perform activities without constant supervision
  • Skilled using measuring equipment: micrometer; caliper; Dial indicators etc
  • Math skills for data analysis.
  • Full MS Office type software competency (Excel, Word, PPT, Access dB..)
  • Computer skills for data collection, record keeping and reports.
  • Good Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills Desired

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 Years' experience in manufacturing and preferably some type of final assembly inspection process

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents
  • Ability to interpret technical charts and drawings
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries

Wage: $21.00-$24.00/hr
