Starting Rate of pay: $27.00
Shifts Available and Hours:

Wednesday-Sunday

7:30pm to 7:30am

Shift Premium: Nightshift - $1.50/hour extra

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining various machinery and mechanical equipment essential to our manufacturing operations. This includes but is not limited to electric motors, hydraulic pumps/valves, pneumatic/hydraulic cylinders, cranes, automatic saws, conveyor/belt systems, and related repair equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in welding, cutting, and fabrication skills.

Required Education/Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years mechanic/millwright experience.
  • Basic proficiency in English to understand and deliver commands.
  • Basic math skills, including the use of a calculator and reading a tape measure.
  • Experience with bearings, gearboxes, gears, and lubrication.
  • Proficiency in welding, cutting, and fabrication.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing machinery, including hydraulics and pneumatics, and interpret mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to perform shaft alignment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a knack for using mechanical tools.
  • Familiarity with electrical and PLC equipment
  • Knowledge of disassemble/reassemble of components in a factory setting.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and repair of machinery as needed.
  • Replace defective parts, lubricate, and clean components to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures according to company policy to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the installation and replacement of equipment as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including regular inspections to identify potential issues proactively.
