Overview

Element has immediate opening for a Radiographic NDT Technician - Level II, they will assist and facilitate the testing of specimens through the use of radiographic testing processes and procedures. In this role the technician will be responsible for providing reliable results while paying close attention to safety and project timelines.

The Radiographic, NDT Level II will be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents utilized at Element. A Level II shall be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations for the technique/method to which certified and should be capable of directing the work of trainees and Level 1 personnel. The Level II Technician will have an advanced knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology. Will consider 5+ years of experience in Level II, with ability to move to Levell III in the near future.

Salary: $26-$32/hr

Responsibilities
*Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner. *Conduct Nondestructive tests in accordance with written company procedures.*Ability to accurately analyze and interpret test data with the ability to report the test results in a clear and well written manner a plus.*ASNT Level I and Level II classroom hours and recorded on the job training hours in any or multiple methods a plus.*Approved 40-hour Radiation Safety a plus.*Some experience testing a combination of: Welds, castings, steel, titanium and aluminum is a plus.*Experience utilizing industry specifications such as: ASTM, Boeing, GE, Honeywell and Pratt Familiarity with testing codes and standards and possess the ability to interpret codes and specifications is a plus.*Provide insight on technique development a plus.*Availability, flexibility in work schedule a plus.*Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.*Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) a plus.*Perform other duties as assigned

    High school diploma or equivalent work experience within a related field
  • Minimum experience level: 2-5 years of similar or related experience
  • High level computer user: Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
  • Diverse knowledge of Aerospace NDT specifications. Added benefit with exposure to, Boeing, GE, Honeywell, and Pratt
  • Familiar with testing codes and standards
  • Must be able to read and write English
