WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Hybrid (+50% Onsite)

WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: Onsite - 80% / Remote - 20%

WORK LOCATION: Hillsboro, OR (NCP) Office

EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $45,251 - $62,220 annually

This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY

Program Coordinator I is to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks that will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. A Program Coordinator I will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and good managerial practices. Great problem-solving logic will allow them the ability to not only solve problems but create solutions that are beyond expectations. In addition, they will have great time management skills to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first level of contact and support for the program
  • Assist in regional support and transitions
  • Provide program and technical training to new and existing regions
  • Maintaining records and files for the program
  • Collecting and analyzing data on the program
  • Ensuring compliance with program procedures
  • Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities and events
  • Helping with marketing efforts for the program
  • Manage communications through media relations, social media
  • Preparing reports
  • Help build positive relations within the team and externally
  • Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
  • Provide support for project management needs
  • Implement and support DEI initiative and integration
  • Conducting demonstrations and modeling lessons for classroom teachers
  • Provide professional development and ability to turnkey train staff as needed
  • Implement and support DEI initiative and integration
  • Support Dallas site events / visitors to include menu ordering and event setup / breakdown

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or associates degree with relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Multi-tasking
  • Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position
  • Knowledge of program management and development procedures
  • Knowledge of budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting
  • Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and efficient

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS / SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively use and navigate SalesForce.com
  • High degree of attention to detail and multitasking skills required
  • Ability to effectively communicate via telephone, email, text message, and instant message
  • Ability to use current digital media and adaptability to learn and use future versions
  • Ability to speak and present in front of audiences, classes, and/or educators
  • Ability to successfully demonstrate an electron microscope and perform EDS analysis on a variety of samples
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must always have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to effectively communicate (read, write, and speak) in English is required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to provide industry bid quotes
  • Ability to answer general local and state government-based questions as they relate to the STEM-EOP

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
  • Annual safety courses will need to be taken and passed on a yearly basis

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to carefully push, pull, and navigate moving a hand cart with expensive equipment in and out of vehicles and institutions. Will require ensuring support and collaboration from others for push/pull/navigate card and technical equipment as needed/applicable and to remain within lifting/moving requirements.
  • Ability to clearly see focused images and data from the TM with or without accommodation
  • Ability to speak with and without a microphone in front of both small and large audiences
