Jr Graphic Designer

About the Creative Team

The Jr Graphics Designer is part of the Brand Creative Team for Rejuvenation. We are a team of collaborative designers working in digital and print to bring the Rejuvenation brand to life across all marketing channels.

Overview of the Jr Graphics Designer role

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and production of retail, digital marketing and design projects. You will work with the senior designers to ensure seasonal design initiatives are implemented consistently, manage timelines and schedule proofing with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing graphic treatments, and layouts for various marketing materials, including print and digital media
  • Maintain and organize digital assets and design files
  • Support the team by preparing high quality production ready artwork files
  • Work in design templates to produce retail marketing signs including product and promotional signage
  • Coordinate with marketing & retail teams and send files to print vendors for delivery to stores
  • Support team as needed with any special requests
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and software advancements to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the team's growth
  • Provide administrative support to the design team as needed
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts as needed

Criteria

  • 1-2 years experience of digital and/or print design at in-house Creative Department or Agency
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Familiar with airtable or other project management software
  • Illustration, Motion design, and Video editing skills a plus
  • An eye for typography
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Time management and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative and enjoys sharing information and ideas with others
  • Problem solver who can use their creativity to improve processes
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred not required) or equivalent work experience
