We're looking for a PCIe FPGA Validation Engineer to join the team.

Synopsys is seeking a creative, ambitious, and talented engineer to fill an FPGA Validation role in Hillsboro, Oregon. Synopsys provides a stimulating, challenging and rewarding work within an excellent work environment with a wide range of career development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be part of the IP FPGA Prototyping team, which maintains Synopsys' IP Prototyping portfolio (e.g. PCIe, CXL), developing innovative products using Synopsys FPGA-based prototyping platforms and supporting internal and external customers around the world.

Role will require 20% travel (for compliance workshops, customer interop and conference demos), with a requirement to work out of our Hillsboro office location.


Key Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
  • 5+ years of relevant industry Validation and Debug experience with FPGA.
  • Design experience in SystemVerilog
  • PCIe Design and Validation experience a plus
  • UVM experience a plus
  • Comfortable operating in a Linux environment
  • Communication skills identifying and implementing solutions while coordinating with customers and partners
  • Highly motivated with the ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communication skills

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $114,000-$170,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
