Join Our Team as a Professional Land Surveyor in Oregon

Parametrix, a leading professional services firm specializing in surveying, engineering, planning, environmental sciences, and construction management, is seeking a talented Professional Land Surveyor to join our Oregon team. This position will be based out of Portland or Bend and have flexibility for a hybrid or remote and office work as needed for project and client collaboration.

Your Role:

As a Professional Land Surveyor based in either Portland or Bend, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our survey presence in Oregon. From managing and delivering projects to mentoring our talented team, you'll play a pivotal role in our continued success. This position will prepare survey information, provide technical guidance, line out crews, determine training and equipment needs, develops cost estimates and proposals and hires, trains and retains survey team members.

Who You Are:

Survey Professional: Oregon PLS (or the ability to obtain) with 10+ years of progressive experience and the interest and ability to join other senior leaders in support, growth, and leadership of an established survey practice.

Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage projects and clients, lead a team and promote collaboration.

Client Connection: Strong knowledge of the Oregon Survey market. Collaborate with key clients to ensure services are meeting their needs and expectations. Promote relationships with key teaming partners.

Knowledgeable: Candidate will need to independently complete field to office tasks, lead, and direct survey teams, and provide cross-office support. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; Trimble hardware and field/office software preferred.

Project Management: Serve as the PM or survey task lead, responsible for overall QA/QC, project oversight, and client management. Proven skills in leading a team of professionals in delivery of successful projects. Commitment to comprehensive communication & collaboration.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $115,000-$145,000+. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing insights into our compensation structure and the inherent value of becoming an employee-owner.
