$5,000 Retention Bonus Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) 75-80% Travel! Wage: 120k-130K/ year Plus Retention Bonus and eligible for Bonus Plan Location: This region covers facilities located in both Oregon and Washington. 75-8% Travel The majority of your time will be spent in one of the 10 communities within your region, and any office days are typically taken from your home. However, occasionally there will be meetings at the home office in Tigard, OR or other designated meeting locations. The ideal candidate must be available to travel 70-80% of the workweek to facilities and meetings within the region, and must expect to work beyond normal working hours including weekends and holidays when necessary and available on-call 24 hours/day and 7 days/week. Responsibilities:
  • Provide training, in-servicing, monitoring and the necessary assistance to maintain the highest level of care from a holistic view.
  • Promote interdisciplinary cooperative endeavors, mutual understanding and support.
  • Responsible for assuring all corporate procedures and systems are in place throughout the company and that the systems are in place to promote the highest level of care.
  • Develop and adhere to a proactive consultation schedule based on facility risk and clinical goals.
  • Review all surveys within the region for plans of correction, and review weekly reports for each facility identifying areas of concern or priorities.
  • Provide reports and trends to the company and assist in developing plans to improve various areas of focus.
  • Perform and implement compliance programs including Mock QIS, reviews and routine consultative visits.
  • Conduct and facilitate regional meetings and provide orientation to all newly hired Nurse Managers and Directors of Nursing.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Oregon and WA.
  • Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have a minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing
  • Must have 5 - 10 years of experience in Senior Living
  • Must be able to develop, establish and monitor systems that ensure clinical excellence, compliance with regulations, standards and policies of the company.
  • Must demonstrate familiarity with applicable federal and state guidelines.
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities and have a history of successfully integrating teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle for transportation.
