Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  • Monitor healthcare-associated infections and outbreaks
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to prevent and control infections
  • Ensure compliance with all infection prevention and control regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement best practices for infection prevention and control
  • Develop and deliver infection prevention and control education and training programs for staff and patients
  • Serve as a resource to healthcare providers on infection prevention and control issues
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention and control
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license
  • Certification in infection prevention and control
  • At least 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
