Pay Rate: $24.00/ hour.

Location: Kaiser Panorama City and Kaiser Santa Clarita

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Requirements:

  • Must have Class B License
  • Must have medical endorsement.
  • Must have passenger endorsement.
  • Must have experience driving shuttles.

The Shuttle Supervisor helps to oversee the operations of a location(s), under the direction of the Director of Operations to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. We are looking to hire a talented individual who can oversee two Kaiser operation in the Valley. The ideal candidate will be the supervisor for Kaiser Panorama City and Kaiser Santa Clarita. The supervisor will oversee three golf cart drivers who will be on the Panorama City Campus and will also oversee two drivers in Santa Clarita who will be transporting employees in a 14-passenger van. This individual will be required to be at both sites every day. The supervisor will have a 14-passenger van as well to utilize while going from one location to another. The Shuttle Supervisor will also be required to fill in times when we might be short staffed in both locations. They will also need to report everyday operational summary to the manager.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Lead, direct, and develop team of shuttle drivers in Los Angeles County.
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train and direct the activities of on-site shuttle drivers.
  • Identifying high potential employees to support the organization's continued growth.
  • Ensure drivers are driving the proper routes and hitting the scheduled pick up times while keeping on schedule.
  • Responsible for payroll processing; ensuring sign off on hours in timely manner; collaborate with the local payroll department to ensure pay data is completed properly; work with Human Resources Manager to ensure proper wage and hour compliance.
  • Responsible for executing plan for the opening of newly assigned locations.
  • Responsible for financial management of assigned locations ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements.
  • Oversee the transition of newly assigned locations from acceptance of contract through opening of location ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for developing client relationships and business retention.
  • Organize and narrate parking management skills for Assistant Managers and Team Leaders.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.
  • Assist the region with the operations preparation for potential new locations including rate surveys, ticket pulls, etc.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned location(s).
  • Participate in labor contract management if applicable to assigned location(s).
  • Communicate effectively with all required entities regarding operation emergencies.
  • Organize and manage the oversight of event operations within LAZ Parking.
  • Assist with the monitoring, review, and analysis of the market rate structure.
  • Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from assigned location(s).
  • Additional related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • Must have experience working and supervising a shuttle program with Class B drivers
  • Must have experience with DOT compliance with regards to CHP inspections
  • Must have experience with the regular maintenance and 45 day inspections of the shuttle program
  • 1+ years in Management role.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience working with financial statement/accounting, P&L reports and budgeting.
  • Schedule flexibility in order to meet operational needs. This will require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
  • Parking management experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
