Sales Operations Project/program Manager

This role can be held in Portland, OR or Westminster, CO

As the Sales Operations Project/Program Manager, you'll work closely with CES Sales Operations senior management to ensure complex and/or critical projects are managed to completion. You'll manage, track, and report on critical projects, as well as assess outcomes and drive continuous improvement. You'll partner with sales operations leaders across the organization to establish and extend program best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans and oversees multiple concurrent activities from project initiation to completion, communicates progress to customers, engineers and department leads.

  • Achieve optimal project outcomes by influencing across the organization, removing barriers, improving organizational project meetings, and enhancing operational culture.

  • Proactively identifies risks and issues, drives the team to develop risk mitigation and issue management strategies and communicates impacts to the program and executive teams.

  • Provides effective communication and ensures key information is effectively cascaded and retained regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks and plan execution to CES Sales Operations senior management team.

  • Drives collaboration and communication of cross-functional, globally-dispersed teams.

  • Plays a leadership role in driving continuous improvement to established processes.

  • Develops and oversees delivery schedules, with well-defined milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Owns resolution of conflicts by bringing key stakeholders and owners together to facilitate decision making, with a focus on ensuring customer success.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 5+ years of work experience in a business capacity roles such as sales operations, sales, sales enablement, preferably with a hardware or software company, or experience working for a consulting firm aligning organizational effectiveness

  • Experience running program and project-level management within a matrix organization

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail

  • Inclusive leadership skills and ability to leverage varying skill sets and capabilities while achieving organizational objectives.

  • Well-organized, self-directed team player. Remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.

  • Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to complex programs.

  • Proven track record of ensuring accountability and results; ability to steer leader towards decisions

  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and distilling executable actions

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to judge situations accurately and quickly, grasping complexities, identifying key issues and applying sound judgment

  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

  • Experience planning and facilitating strategic initiatives
